My day started with no hot water...and then my stamp of the day was when I decided that I'm officially changing this blog. STAMP:FIO RASING HER HAND AND DARN IT.......
The blog's message states "Juan Carlos and Fiorellas blog". but my husband doesnt even know the freakin password of it.... So I'm officially taking Juan Carlos out of it (sorry sweety.....we'll talk it over dinner)
This is my life... our lives better put.. but I decide what to write and what not to write.......

contimplating.... thinking... cursing... missing... ahhhh.... the aftermath of visiting a third world country.
Its about 3 am and I'm sitting in the dark with a bottle of pep-to, some milk, and half a peanut butter jelly sandwich. I have gastratis, yep a disease that sneaks up when you are not careful about your consumption of food or alcohol. And this trip to honduras I suprisingly enjoyed every bit of honduran carb, fat and fried food i could get my hands on. So now, I can't go to sleep, I finished watching season 1 of Mad Men (by the way.. HIGHLY recommend it!) facebooksurfing.... bored, and then decided to check my vox. Wait a minute is that a comment i see in my last entry!! wait... it's a bird its a plane.. its a freakin-someone-wrote-me-a-comment!!!... I HAVE A COMMENT!!! shitting!! an actual human being comment! no way.. ITS A MIRACLE! Santa maria virgen de la caridad! wow.. i am not alone! well muppet, thank you! whoever you are (will probably check your blog soon) I am ecstatic.. and my stomach too! so.. to salute my humble companion in my 3 am rants, Here is a drink of my pepto!
Also check out these honduran pics..
Hi everyone,
lesson #1, nobody reads my blog because i never write in it I've been using it to post pictures. Which i can do that in flickr. Lesson #2, dont eat 3rd world country food like you have always lived there. Yeah..my stomach has not been behaving itself, Lesson #3, When you go visit your family always be prepared to come back.. and stop calling it "home". Home should be where you spend every giving day out of your life.
So yeah... we just got back from Honduras... wow... an amazing place. google it if you dont know where it is. I enjoyed everything about it. Where do i begin? mmm... start with the food, aaaahh the latin food. I have to admit, the cravings started with: baleadas(our version of bean burritos), tortillas, aguacates, camarones, sopa de caracol, ceviche, ahhh well.. in between the ceviche (raw seafood) and fried shrimp I brought back a small parasite where its current zipcode is: my stomach. Put on some pounds and their is nothing like home cook meals.
The friends; they all look the same except for some that i think they are getting meaner by the days and some are just getting weirder. But in overall everyone was amazing... and had a blast... take a look at some of the pics...
Hola a todos.. haven't been writing for a while.. been busy just trying to take in london and make it our home. I've been writing.. here is something in the last couple of weeks i was going through the train to waterloo station then to work.. and this is what i felt...
Overdrive.... your surroundings always carry an image. Look and you'll find beauty in the ugly. a smile in the sorrow. It's london. There is always a challenge. there is always the opposite. The negative is always the positive.
Moving to this city causes an explosion in your mind. the sensitized mind is in overdrive.
your morning commutes are triggered with the surrounding rush of people. I love london, It brings the unsensitized out of us. it challenges your nerves, your mind and your life. a wet umbrella inside your oversize stylish bag is now part of your daily wardrobe. fresh food is your meal. suit and tie becomes you. ipod is your secret to relaxation and release. Reading the newspaper becomes a routine which you quite enjoy. And hearing about Hollywood gossip is a laughing topic. London brings the best in you through an overdrive of senses.
Your high heels become dust in your closet and your converse are a must have through all the seasons. But never forget, hearing the phrase, "Mind the hap" becomes a prayer in your commute. Time becomes obsolete. You get there when the tube gets you there. Walking... AHHH walking.. Im still iffy about this subject. You just walk. No side roads or short cuts. Just walk, you'll eventually get there. Just remember to wear comfortable shoes. I love london and london loves me... (Sometimes!)
Through all the places
we went… i have to admit i fell in love with Germany. Why? The people, the
atmosphere, the culture, the food, the beer. I have to say that I still feel like I am in that place right now… thinking of how a country has risen through a reign of terror
and has been able to flourish and become a land of positives vibes and brilliance…. I love it.. there are few words to explain why we both fell in love with this country.
Spent little time in
Germany during this trip but we totally felt the great spirit of the people. The funny thing
is that you generally think of
Germany and the word Nazi comes to mind or holocaust. When you walk through the
Holocaust memorial in Berlin there is a sense of sorrow and agony in the air. You walk through the streets
and scars of a divided nation are seen but felt in the attitudes of the people. They don’t
talk much about the past, but you know they think about it. Yes, you can see the suffering of a country,
but now, the country accepts and morns the past and embraces the future. You also know that once you walk through Germany, you
fall in love with it just by being in it. Yeah sometimes you get the crazy rude blunt german.. but in general the people have this
spirit inside of them which is felt by just a simple hello, or a PROST!(cheers
when drinking a beer!)
This summer my sister and brother in law made a great decision to come and visit us.. We all decided to take a “tour” of europe . From planning, to booking fares, trains and hotels we decided to go to milan, venice then berlin, and head off to Munich … but we took some 2 detours.. Lake Como and Neuschwanstein castle. This castle is infamous in because it was the home of Ludwig II, King of Bavaria or if you remember when you where a kid it was sleeping beauty castle. Or where swan lake came to life.. that was the kings favorite animal. We decided to take a bike tour to the castle. Oh yes…. Not only a bike tour! But MIKES BIKE TOUR! This is very highly recommended.. the tour is great! They take you through the great plains outside , then a history of the castle, a hike up the castle and the tour inside… Also.. the tour guide is a very good magician!! We learned a great deal about and . And the infamous king of this area… Ludwig II. Long story short: Gay, never married, danced in a tootoo around the castle, he lavishly spent all the money he had, his brother was crazy, his parents where crazy too and very odd, and they found him mysteriously dead in another lake around the area. Ludwig's mental state was hotly disputed toward the end of his life, and has been a continued subject of speculation among historians.

i see your blog anyways!..even if i don't comment..i should get better at commenting though :-S..i like your pictures of... read more
